Hotel Amaltas opened in 1998 inside a restored haveli on the edge of Jaipur's old city, named for the golden amaltas trees that shade its central courtyard every summer. What began as a twelve-room guesthouse has grown into a 48-room property, without losing the courtyard, the trees, or the family running it.
We believe hospitality is a craft passed down, not a script. Most of our senior staff have been with us over a decade, and it shows in the small things: a remembered name, a chai brought before it's asked for.
